We run Midnight Basketball Melton Tournaments with our local community's help and would love you to get involved - see details below.

Midnight Basketball Melton is a late night, fun social basketball tournament with dinner and skills sessions and welcomes all teenagers aged 12-18. Running on Friday or Saturday nights from 7.00pm with a bus safely home by Midnight, it provides high energy, fun and safe nights.

    Tournament times

    Generally run along the following times:

        • Volunteer briefing 6:30pm.
        • Players arrive 6:45pm.
        • Dinner at 7:15pm.
        • Skills sessions and Tournament matches finish around 10:30pm.
        • Players collected (by approved parents/guardians) or dropped safely home by bus.
        • Everyone fast asleep at Midnight.


    Code of Conduct for this Tournament

    This has been designed by previous Midnight Basketball players and will be updated after Midnight Basketball Melton's Week 1 Skills session.

        • Try your hardest. Learn. Practice your skills.
        • Bring all your positive ideas to help your team members, your coaches and the entire Tournament.
        • Get on board with healthy habits and respect for your body and mind - reach out for help as there will be lots of good advice and support available.
        • Consider lifestyle: sleep, exercise, nutrition, friendships and socialising, purpose.
        • Share what you have learnt.
        • Look after each other. Help anyone new. Include everyone.
        • Respect the referees and ask them questions and to clarify anything before and after games.
        • Clean up after yourself and team.
        • Absolute gratitude and respect for volunteers.
        • Be your best self.
        • Have loads of fun. Laugh. Enjoy.

    We welcome all interested volunteers as we can help everyone to find a role to suit.

      Midnight Basketball welcomes all local teenagers aged 12-18. It is free and also includes dinner, team singlet, transport home and lots more. You'll have heaps of fun getting together with your friends and also meeting new friends, and sharpening and learning new basketball skills. There are best and fairest awards up for grabs and trophies at the end of the Tournament.

          • Players must live in your local Melton area to register for Midnight Basketball Melton.
          • Players can only register for Midnight Basketball Melton Tournaments if they reside in the following postcodes TBA
